Ada Holzhauer

Herrin- ADA HOLZHAUER, age 93, of Herrin, passed away at 5:50 PM on Friday, July 21, 2006 at her residence in Herrin. Ada was born in Hurst on September 18, 1912 to Thomas and Nellie (McNeil) Morris. She married Carl C. Holzhauer. He preceded her in death in 1969. Survivors include- Two Sons- Jim Holzhauer- Herrin, IL Douglas and Janet Holzhauer- Marshall, Ark. Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren One Brother- Joseph and Gertrude Morris- Atlanta, GA Several Nieces and Nephews Ada was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son-Norman, and seven brothers and sisters. As per her wishes, Adas body will be cremated. Private family services will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
