Adilene Allen

Adilene Allen, 86, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 3:15 A.M. at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Adilene was born April 12, 1927 in Birch Tree, Missouri the daughter of Kellen Arthur and Nettie Mae (Houghton) Schneider.   She married Noel E. Allen on January 1, 1955 in Hernando, Mississippi and together they shared over 51 years of marriage until his death on July 18, 2006. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lake of Egypt Christian Church. Adilene is survived by: Son – Robert “Bob” Allen and wife Vicki of Smyrna, Tennessee Daughter – Debbie Fosse and husband Wayne of Marion Five Grandchildren;   John R. Cooksey and wife Meridy of West Frankfort   Angela Reinhardt and husband Mike of Herrin   Ashley Stevens and husband Phillip of Marion   Patrick Allen of Tucson, Arizona   Amy Allen of Smyrna, Tennessee Five Great Grandchildren;   Madeline Reinhardt   Lilyanne Cooksey   Gabriel Stevens   Jillian Reinhardt   Tre Hardiman Sister – Marge Bunton of Owensville, Missouri Several Nieces and Nephews Preceded by her Parents, Husband – Noel Allen, Two sisters – Fern Eastman, Mae Clark and Brother – A.G. Schneider. Funeral services will be Friday, August 23, 2013 at 12 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Brother Leroy Waggoner officiating.  Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday from 10 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
