Albert Lee Lattuada

Herrin- ALBERT LEE LATTUADA, age 64, of Herrin, passed away at 6:45pm on Monday, April 26, 2010 at Herrin Hospital. Albert was born in Herrin on September 18, 1945, the son of Josephine (Pessina) and Louis Lattuada, Sr. He married Kaye Deming in Herrin on April 20, 1972. She preceded him in death on October 27, 2002. Mr. Lattuada was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. He had retired from the H Group where he served as a carpenter and developmental training aide. He was a 4th degree member of the Herrin Knights of Columbus, where he was very active in Bingo and had served as a Past Grand Knight. Albert was also a member of the Carpenters Union and a volunteer for the Special Olympics. Survivors include his daughter- Chris Tina and Scott Hopkins of Herrin, IL Three grandchildren- Khrystynna Burnett of Herrin, IL Kacie and Alexis Hopkins of Galatia, IL Sister- Clementine Snider of Herrin, IL Sister-in-law- Linda Lattuada-Williams of Herrin, IL He was preceded in death by his parents, wife- Kaye, and one brother- Louis Lattuada, and one nephew- Albert Eugene Snider. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin with Monsignor Ken Schaefer officiating. Burial will follow at San Carlo Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-9pm on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with a prayer service being held Wednesday evening at 5pm at the funeral home.
