Alene Norris

Alene Norris, 74, of Marion, passed away at 4:10 P.M. on Thursday, June 6, 2002 at Marion Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be held on Saturday evening from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday at 1:30 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Norris officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. Alene was born on December 30, 1927 in Williamson County to John and Beulah (Shadowens) Barwick. They both preceeded her in death. She married Arlie Norris on August 26, 1943, he also preceeded her in death. Alene was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
