Alice Curtner

Creal Springs Alice Curtner, 95, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2006 at 10:45 A.M. at her home. Alice was born June 12, 1911 in Johnson County to Morris & Alice (Kasey) Bell. She was the last surviving of 8 children. She married Carl Curtner in 1935 in Springfield and he preceded her in death on July 26, 1993. Alice attended Cana Baptist Church. She retired from the General Grocery Store in Crab Orchard. Survivors include: Son Carl Curtner and wife Barbara of Springfield Four Grandchildren; Joshua Curtner Conner Curtner Nolan Curtner Jack Curtner Several nieces and nephews Preceded by Parents, Husband, Brother George Bell, Six Sisters May McCuan, Minnie Parks, Ruth Taylor, Lizzie Royster, Irene Dees, and Evelyn Jones. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Burial will follow in Robinson Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
