Alice F. Campbell

Herrin- Alice F. Campbell, age 75, of Butler, PA, passed away at 10:50am on Monday, December 22, 2008 at Butler Memorial Hospital in Butler, PA. Alice was born in Herrin on May 20, 1933, the daughter of the late Harry and Della (Brandon) Glenn. She married Ronald G. Campbell in Herrin on March 27, 1954. They shared fifty-four years of marriage. He survives in Butler, PA. Mrs. Campbell was a member of the Community Alliance Church in Butler, PA. She loved to play bridge and belonged to several bridge clubs. Alice was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband- Ronald G. Campbell of Butler, PA Daughter- LaDonna and Robert Young of Butler, PA Son- Randy and Jessie Campbell of Freeman Spur, IL Seven Grandchildren- Dane Young of Butler, PA Lydia Young of Butler, PA Brad Conroy of Mobile, AL Brent Campbell of Herrin, IL April Campbell of Marion, IL Darin Temple of Herrin, IL Bryan Campbell of Pittsburg, PA Eight Great Grandchildren- Jaden, Elijah, Kyle, Willow, Damian, Nevaeh, Ian, & Wyatt Sister- Carmen and Tom Hall of Marion, IL Two nieces- Elesa and Mark Ballard Carla Hall She was preceded in death by her parents, one son- Bryan Campbell, and one brother- Leonard Glenn. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin, with Rev. Ralph Brandon officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-9pm on Monday, December 29, 2008 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's.
