Alice M. Jezek, 86, passed away at Marion Memorial Hospital Saturday morning May 25, 2002 at 2:10 A.M.
Funeral services will be held at Mitchell-Hughes funeral home Thursday, May 30, 2002 at 10:00 A.M. Dr. Bob Wagner will officiate. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. Visitation for Mrs. Jezek will be held at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5:00-9:00 P.M.
She was born September 28, 1915 to James Roy Ramsey and Blanche Ramsey of Spillertown, lL. She was married to Woodrow Wilson Jezek on November 6, 1937 in Charleston, MO. He passed away September 28, 1998.
She is survived by her son-in-law Clyde W. Lowe; her grandson Todd Lowe and his wife Karen, and their son Colby; her grandson Thad Lowe, his wife Leena, and their sons Alex and Kyle; her cousin Irma Murphy; and a host of dear friends. Her parents, her brother, William T. Ramsey, her daughter, Judy K. Lowe preceded her in death her in death.
Alice worked many years at Bracy Food Store and Food Town as a checker, and has been retired since the early 80s. Her husband, Woodrow, drove a truck for Henshaw Lumber.
She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Marion, Ill and a long time member of the community.
