Herrin- Allen Ray Spiller, 41, of Herrin, died at 1:45 PM, Sunday, November 6, 2005 at his home.
Allen was born on January 9, 1964 in Herrin to Leland Ray & Shirley (Atterberry) Spiller. He married Carla Bush on July 1, 1985 at the Hafer Baptist Church in rural Herrin. She survives of Herrin.
Mr. Spiller was employed as a thread operator at Intertape Polymer Group in Carbondale for the past twenty years.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Crab Orchard Boat & Yacht Club.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; George & Eva Atterberry, and paternal grandparents; Harold & Rosalie Spiller.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Michael Tetmeyer will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Carterville. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
