Amy Louise Barnett

Marion Amy Louise Barnett, 90, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2007 at 3:30 A.M. at her home. Amy was born August 17, 1916 in Marion to W.T. & Sarah (Taylor) Haseker. She married Jack Boyt and he preceded her in death, she later married Harry N. Barnett in 1960, who preceded her in death on January 23, 1981. Amy was a retired Supervisor of the Recreation Center of the State Hospital in Elgin. She was a member of Community of Christ Church and the Marion Eagles Auxiliary. Survivors include: Three sons: Bill Boyt and wife Rita of Colorado Springs, CO Bob Boyt and wife Sue of Marion Charles Boyt of Brookport Daughter Shirley Ann Davis and husband Martin of Marion Thirteen Grandchildren Several Great Grandchildren Preceded by Parents, Husbands Jack Boyt and Harry N. Barnett, Grandson Robert Martin, Two brothers Troy and Elmer Haseker Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Gordon Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in Freedom Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. For those who preferred memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
