Marion- Andrew Williams, 51, of Marion, originally from West Frankfort, passed away at 9:10 AM, Friday, August 1, 2008 at Herrin Hospital. Andrew was born on August 12, 1956in Benton to Raymond & Betty (Cooper) Williams. He married Debra E. Kirk on November 8, 1983 in West Frankfort. She survives of West Frankfort. He worked for many years as a landscaping specialist for Riddle Nursery in West Frankfort, before going out and working on his own for the last several years. He was of protestant faith. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson and three dogs- Lucky Leroy, Amy Jo and Pepper. He was always working around the house and yard. He was a jack of all trades who could fix anything and enjoyed doing it. He liked western movies and television shows like Gunsmoke, Andy Griffith and Bonanza. Survivors include- Wife- Debra Williams of West Frankfort Son- Billy Riddle, Jr. & fiance Tina Neibel of West Frankfort Son- Seth Riddle & fiance Ashley Ferguson of Herrin Son- Joseph Williams of Sesser Daughter- Robin Williams of Sesser Grandchildren- Gavin Alexander Riddle of Herrin + one on the way Grandchild- Hunter Frick of West Frankfort Brother- George Williams of West Frankfort Brother- Bobby Williams of Benton Brother & sister in law- Billy Jo & Cathy Williams of West Frankfort Brother & sister in law- Ray & Sandy Williams of West Frankfort Sister- Louise Bower of West Frankfort Sister- Caroline La Pradd of West Frankfort Sister in law- Robyn Miller of West Frankfort Several nieces & nephews, aunts & uncles and cousins He was preceded in death by his parents, mother in law & father in law, daughter- Alicia Nicole Riddle and one brother- Noah Williams. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Terry Shelton will officiate. Burial will follow at Denning Cemetery in Orient. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service, Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to the family and will be accepted at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home/ 201 S. 13th St/ Herrin, IL 62948.
