Angeline D. Barrale

Marion Angeline D. Barrale, 84, passed away on Wednesday, January 09, 2008 at 3:05 A.M. at Frankfort Care Center in West Frankfort. Angie was born June 3, 1923 the daughter of Joe & Frances (Macaluso) DeFrank. She married Paul L. Barrale on June 20, 1946 and together they shared over 50 years of marriage until his death on September 8, 1996. Angie retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital where she had worked as an Auditor for the FISAC Services. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include: Son Frank Barrale of Marion Daughter Paula Barrale of Herrin Two Grandchildren; Heather Barnett and husband David of Johnston City Kyle Spitzner and wife Raylena of Herrin Four Great Grandchildren; Tabatha Barnett, Braden Barnett & Dustin Barnett all of Johnston City Bailey Spitzner of Herrin Sister Ann Carlisle and husband Bill of Chicago Sister Marie Simmons and husband John of Marion Several Nieces & Nephews Preceded by Her parents, husband Paul, brother Joe DeFrank and sister Josephine Tucker. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. For those who prefer memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
