Angeline Marie Crespi

Herrin- ANGELINE MARIE CRESPI, age 89, of Herrin, passed away at 11:59am on Friday, March 25, 2011 at Herrin Hospital. Angeline was born in Herrin on September 29, 1921, the daughter of John A. and Josephine (Purcelli) Crespi. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. Mrs. Crespi was the retired CEO of Crespi Distributing Co., Inc in West Frankfort. Survivors include a sister-in-law- Helen Crespi of West Frankfort, IL Niece- Lynn Crespi of Herrin, IL Nephew- John and Jennifer Crespi of Herrin, IL Nephew- Tom Crespi of West Frankfort, IL Great Nephews- Andrew Crespi of West Frankfort, IL B.J. Crespi of Johnston City, IL She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother- Robert Crespi. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin with Monsignor Ken Schaefer officiating. Burial will follow at San Carlo Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9-11am on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
