Johnston City- ANGELO PAUL MARLOW, 81, of Johnston City, passed away at 5:27 am on Wednesday June 29, 2005 at Herrin Hospital.
Angelo was born October 2, 1923 in Johnston City to Paul and Adelia (Cassina) Marlow. He married Genevieve Pate in 1946 at Union City, TN and together they shared 49 years of marriage. She survives in Johnston City.
Mr. Marlow was a retired truck driver with Southern Illinois Wholesale (Millers Distributing). He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Herrin and a member of the American Legion, having served in the Air Force during WWII.

Funeral mass will held on Friday July 1, 2005 at 11am at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Monsignor Ken Schaefer officiating. Burial will follow at San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin with military rites performed by Herrins American Legion and VFW Posts. Visitation will be held from 10-11am on Friday July 1, 2005 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
