Anna Faye Bryan, 95, of Marion, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 5:15 am at Integrity Healthcare.
Anna was born June 22, 1926 the daughter of Roy and Hettie (Beasley) Tanner. She married Charles Bryan on April 18, 1953 and together they shared over 32 years of marriage until his death on May 26, 1985.
Anna worked at Woolworth in Waukegan, the Joe Williams Furniture Store, Bennie's Restaurant and as a salesperson for Coast to Coast Hardware for many years. She volunteered at the Marion Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She was originally a Charter Member of Walnut Hill Freewill Baptist Church and later Third Baptist Church in Marion. Anna was an avid doll and glassware collector.
Survivors include her Sister, Bonnie Johns. Anna was the cherished Aunt to nephews and niece - David McAlpin (Debbie), Neica Allred (Chuck), Chris Johns (Sherry), great nephews and nieces; Brad McAlpin, Bethany Ponivas (Drew), Andrew Johns (Courtney), Taylor Allred (Stevie), Collin Johns, Micaela Allred, Kenadee Johns, great great nephews and nieces; Kaylee, Addie, Eli, Clayton, Finleigh, Gracelynn, Kolt and Kreid, niece-in-law Patty Newell, Sean and Amie and their families, family members; Rick McAlpin, Stacey and Janie, Bryan Johns, Ryan and Cody, Kelly Palmer, Kylee
Preceded by her Parents, husband, Charles Bryan, brother Virgil Tanner, sister, Dorothy McAlpin, brother-in-laws, Virgil McAlpin, Robert Johns, nephews Dean Newell and Mike Bryan.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 1 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm at the funeral home.
