Anna Grace Turner

Anna Grace Turner, 87, of Marion, passed away at 12:10 am at Marion Rehab and Nursing Home.  Anna was born May 2, 1928 in Williamson County the daughter of Lucillus Bird and Myrtle (Jennings) Turner.  She retired from the Sherman State Hospital in Elgin where she had worked as a nurses’s aide.  Anna was of the Methodist Faith and enjoyed attending the worship services at Marion Rehab.  Survivors include her;Three nephews;   Lee Turner and wife Shirley of Marion   Bill Turner and wife Shirley of Harrisburg   Steve Turner and wife Wynona of Carrier Mills Several great nieces and nephews  Proceded by her Parents, two sisters – Hazel Brown, Gladys Turner and five brothers – Jessie Nile Turner, Lucillus Turner, Eugene Harvey Turner, Gus Turner, Hadley Clay Turner, nephew – Bob Turner and niece - Mildred Gates.  In accordance with Anna’s wishes she will be cremated and her cremains will be inurned at Spring Grove Cemetery.  Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with the arrangements.
