Anna Lee Robinson

Herrin- ANNA LEE ROBINSON, age 86, of Herrin, passed away at 6:15pm on Friday, December 3, 2010 at Shawnee Christian Nursing Center in Herrin. Anna was born in Clifford, Illinois on January 3, 1924, the daughter of Perry and Effie (Wilson) Vick. She married William Robinson in Herrin on June 14, 1947. He preceded her in death on January 10, 1972. Mrs. Robinson was a member of the Union Gospel Mission Church. She retired from Maytag. Survivors include her daughter- Brenda Thompson of Herrin, IL Son and Daughter-in-law- Keith and Janice Robinson of Herrin, IL Three Grandchildren- Amy Chaney of Herrin, IL Robyn Henricks of Herrin, IL Jeff and Amy Robinson of Peoria, IL Five Great Grandchildren- Kaylee, Taylor, and Ashley Chaney of Herrin, IL Jessica Wagley of Herrin, IL Benjamin Robinson of Peoria, IL Brother- Robert Vick of Herrin, IL Several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers- Richard and Bennie Vick, and two sisters- Ruby Weaver and Alice Hindman. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, December 6, 2010 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Robert Jilek and Rev. Todd Hawk officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Energy. Visitation will be held from 9-11am on Monday at the funeral home.
