Annabelle Donaldson

Carterville- ANNABELLE DONALDSON, age 74, of Carterville, passed away at 2:45pm on Friday, June 15, 2007 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Annabelle was born in Carterville on January 14, 1933, the daughter of Elijah and Easter (Thomas) Maze. She married George Ray Donaldson in Piggott, Arkansas on December 12, 1951. He preceded her in death on October 16, 1985. Mrs. Donaldson was a member of Crossroads Tabernacle Church. She was a homemaker. Survivors include: 4 daughters and son-in-laws- Sharon & Billy Holland of Carterville, IL Karen & Charles Whitecotton of Carterville, IL Marsha & John Forbes of Cambria, IL Modest Conklin & Charlie Colp of Carterville, IL 1 son and daughter-in-law- Lyndell and Bobbie Donaldson of Herrin, IL 4 Granddaughters- Christi Donaldson, Julie Holland, Marie Raines, and Caitlin Forbes 5 Grandsons- Bobby Ray Donaldson, Donald Ramsey, Mike Green, Billy Holland, Jr. and Bruce Holland. Sisters and brother-in-laws- Mary & Carl Holland of Bush, IL Katherine and Elwood Holland of Bush, IL Pat Hall of Bush Leota Maze of Hurst Lydia Maze of Bush Anita Maze of Anna, IL Elsie Donaldson of Johnston City, IL Several nieces and nephews Great Grandson- Dylan Green Best Friend and Caregiver- Sharon Grissom She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 1 sister, 1 sister-in-law, and 4 brothers-in-law. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, June 18, 2007 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Danny Norman officiating. A eulogy will be given by Jackie Lee Inchcliff. Burial will follow at Blairsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-9pm on Sunday, June 17, 2007 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home; 201 S. 13th Street; Herrin, IL 62948.
