Anne Allen

Marion Anne Allen, 78, died Wednesday, January 07, 2004 at 5:28 A.M. in Belleville Memorial Hospital. Anne was born August 08, 1925 to Arthur and Georgina (Turnbull) Wildin in Roundup, Montana. She married Lowell Doc Allen on May 02, 1944 in Great Falls, Montana; he preceded her in death on November 25, 1993. Anne was a homemaker. Her love, loyalty, and devotion to her family, neighbors, and friends is her legacy. We will all miss her so very much. Survivors include: Son Lowell Sparkie Allen and wife Connie of Belleville, IL Daughter Mary Hughes and husband Mike of Marion Grandchildren; Chris Allen and fiance Michele Dugan of Moweaqua, IL Dee Rueter and husband Jeff of Shiloh, IL Lee Kastner and husband Mike of OFallon, IL Rachel Francis and husband Henry of Farmington, MO Michele Kent of Marion David Hughes of Marion Great-Grandchildren; Danielle, Taylor and Jennifer Kastner of OFallon, IL Allison, Zachary, Garrett and Melanie Rueter of Shiloh, IL Jesse and Marina Francis of Farmington, MO Nicole and Abbie Kent of Marion Andrew and Brenna Anderson of Fairview Heights, IL Nieces, nephews and many friends. Preceded by Parents, Husband, Sisters; Mary Wildin, Elsie Schneider, Ethel Wildin, Ethel Underwood, Brothers; Albert Wildin, Lyle Wildin, Tom Wildin and Art Wildin, Sisters-in-Law; Veatrice Vea Springhart and Mildred Ashbrook. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 11, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Victor Long officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 P.M. 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Marion, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
