Arvilla Daum

Arvilla Daum, age 95, of Marion, Illinois,  passed away at 7:55pm on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Integrity Health Care in Marion, Illinois.

Arvilla was born July 4, 1927 in DuQuoin, Illinois, a daughter of Charles and Francis (Murphy) Sharp. She married the love of her life, Edward L. Daum on May 24, 1947 in DuQuoin. He preceded her in death in September of 1991.  

Arvilla was a member of the Warder Street Baptist Church. She spent her life as a homemaker, lovingly raising her family. 

She is survived by one son, Charles E. (Frances) Daum. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son- William L. Daum, two brothers- Ray and William Sharp, and one sister- Devona.

Private visitation was held at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Private graveside services were held at Egyptian Memorial Gardens in Energy with Rev. Keith Owens officiating.
