Audra Nicole Moroni

Marion- Audra Nicole Moroni, 17, of Marion died at 2:10 A.M., Friday, June 14, 2002 in Marion as a result of an automobile accident. Audra was born on December 2, 1984 in Benton to James Paul & Yvonne (Hampton) Moroni. Miss Moroni was a student at Marion High School having just graduated her junior year. She served as class president her freshman, sophomore, junior, and was already elected president for her senior year. She was a member of the Pep Club, the Junior Senior Science Club, and participated on the High School Soccer and Basketball Team. She was also a member of St, Joseph's Catholic Church in Marion. (Davis) Moroni and Maternal Great Grandparents; Myrtle & Bluford Hampton. The funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 18, 2002 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Monsignor Ken Schaefer will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM- 9:00 PM, Monday, June 17, 2002 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. The rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. The committal service will held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 20, 2002 at San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin.
