Baby Lanie Jo Simmons

Zeigler- Lanie Jo Simmons, 2 weeks 6 days, infant daughter of Darla Ann Rogers and Josh Simmons of Zeigler, passed away at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at St. Louis Childrens Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Lanie Jo was born on October 10, 2012 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis and was baptized shortly thereafter. Lanie Jo is survived by: Mommy and Daddy- Darla Ann Rogers and Josh Simmons of Zeigler Maternal grandparents- William and Sandra Gooden of Hurst Paternal grandfather- John Simmons and wife Heather of Whittington Paternal grandmother- Judy Oakley and husband Todd of Marion She was preceded in death by her infant sisters- Kiersten Gooden Watson and Kaylee Leigh Rogers. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 5, 2012 at Herrin City Cemetery. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at graveside. Rev. Roger Moore will officiate. Funeral arrangements were made at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
