Barbara F. Willis

Marion- Barbara F. Willis, 70, of Marion, passed away at 1:15 AM, Thursday, June 24, 2010 at her home. Barbara was born on March 28, 1940 in Poweshiek Co., IA to Paul & Fern (Johnston) Graham. She married Warren K. Willis on December 28, 1977 in Brooklyn, IA. He survives of Marion. She retired from Pepsi cola of Marion after six years of employment. She formerly worked for the university of Iowa and American College testing Program. She was an active member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Marion and was also a member of the Franklin County Country Club and the FCCC Ladies Golf Association. Barbara enjoyed all types of handiwork hobbies and was well known for the many afghans she crocheted for family, friends and newborns. Survivors include- Husband- Warren K. Willis of Marion Son- Jeffrey W. Willis of St. Petersburg, FL Daughter- Michelle A. Fowler of Phoenix, AZ Grandchild- Joseph A. Fowler of Grand Junction, CO Brother- John Graham & wife Connie of Peachtree City, GA Brother- Brownlie Graham & wife Marilyn of Rochester, NY Brother- Lawrence Ford & wife Audra of Roland, IA Sister- Glynace Ford Kloock & husband Don of Omaha, NE Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father- Harold Ford and one son- Bradley H. Fowler. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 28, 2010 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Marion. Rev. Tim Ozment will officiate. Inurnment will take place at a later date at I.O.O. F. Cemetery in Brooklyn, IA. Visitation will be from 5-8:00 PM, Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
