Herrin- Barbara "Bobbie" Gail Marlow, 93, of Herrin, passed away at 1:10 AM, Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Herrin Hospital.
Barbara was born on October 30, 1913 in West Frankfort to W.E. & Lou Artie (Williams) Hindman. She married Mike J. Marlow on October 26, 1934 in Chicago. He preceded her in death on May 29, 1964.
Mrs. Marlow worked twenty six years as a splitter on the garment line at Smoller Brothers in Herrin. She retired in 1975. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers union and a former member of the Herrin Business and Professional Womens Club.
She was a member of the Herrin First Christian Church. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling, playing pinochle, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother- J.B. Hindman & sisters- Bernice Chapman & Margaret Seddon.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Ron Henwood and Monsignor Ken Schaefer will officiate. Burial will follow at San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until time of service, Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Herrin First Christian Church or Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin and will be accepted at the funeral home.
