Barbara Sue (Hudgens) Woolard, 76, of Marion passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 8:57 A.M. at her home.
Barbara was born March 13, 1935 in Marion the daughter of Sam and Helen I. (Stroud) Hudgens. She married James Woolard in 1956 in Marion and together they shared 49 years of marriage until his death on June 19, 2005.
The beginning of her career was in banking, having worked for the Bank of Herrin, a bank in Chicago, Old National in Springfield and while living in Minnesota she worked for Ford Motor Company. In her later years while living in Syracuse, New York she worked for the Agway Farm Corporate office for the Board of Directors.

Niece Sally Pearce and husband Joe of Marion
Niece Suzie Albright and husband Steve of Goreville
Niece Beth Ide of Texas
Nephew Jeff Woods of Texas
Preceded by her Parents, Husband James Woolard, Nephew Mark Arnold
Funeral services will be Friday, December 2, 2011 at 1 P.M. at the Third Baptist Church in Marion with Rev. Scott Kallem and Rev. Larry Shacklee officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11 A.M. until the time of service at the church. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
