Betty Ann Davis, went to her heavenly home on September 14, 2023. She was born October 03 in Herrin, Illinois, a daughter of Harry and Gloria R. (Owen) Craig. She married the love of her life, John T. Davis on July 05, 1961 in Crab Orchard.
In 1969 she received her Licensed Practical nurse certificate. She worked as a nurse for over 47 years. She made many friends during this time and was well loved by her patients. She loved being a nurse and had a passion for helping others.
Betty gave her life to the Lord Jesus Christ early in life. She served him by serving others. For many years she served in various ministries in the church. Her passion was to tell others about Christ and would never give up on family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Stachia M. (David) Cullers of Pittsburg, IL and Nicki L. (Jeffrey) Spiller of West Frankfort, IL; three grandchildren, Marika Riann (Tommy) Kosek, Zachary Ryan Spiller, and Hannah Grace Cullers; great grandchildren, Jacob Kosek, Hailee Kosek, and Holland Kosek; seven siblings, Lois Norris of Paulton, Judy Craig of Marion, Mary Norris of Marion, Debbie (Rick) Basham of Galatia, Harry Lester (Rita) Craig of Marion, Gerald Ray (Vicki) Craig of Paulton, and Paul (Juanita) Craig of Pittsburg. Also to be mentioned are many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her spouse John T. Davis; one daughter, Terri Davis; and her parents, Harry and Gloria R. (Owen) Craig.
Now she can rejoice with the Lord; she has come to the time for which she lived. This is not the end, but the beginning. Our comfort lies in the truth "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord" Rev. 14:13
