BETTY JUNE CURRY Marion Betty June Curry, 57, died Monday, July 5, 2004 at 7:06 P.M. in St. Marys Hospital in Centralia. Betty was born March 27, 1947 to Leon and Doris (Fox) Beasley in Williamson County. She married James Curry on July 26, 1969 in Poordo and he survives in Marion. Betty was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Poordo. Survivors include: Husband James Curry of Marion, Mother Doris Beasley of Pittsburg, Son Gerald Wayne Curry and wife Tabatha of Marion, Daughter Rebecca Abernathy and husband Richard of Marion, Six (6) Grandchildren: Ethan, Aaron & Logan Curry of Marion, Nick Abernathy of Marion, Shawn & Allen Abernathy of Marion, Mother-in-law Anna Curry of Marion, Three (3) Brothers: Carl & Loretta Beasley of Stonefort, Lynn Beasley of Mt. Vernon, Andy Beasley of Pittsburg, Several nieces and nephews. Preceded by: Father, Grandson Michael Curry. Funeral services will be Friday, July 09, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Pastor Ben Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in County-Line Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
