BEULAH P. HENDERSON
Herrin - Beulah P. Henderson, 87, died at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2003 at Herrin Hospital.
She was born July 20, 1915 in Nokomis, IL to John H. and Elsie (Paul) Kuehner.
She married Jack S. Henderson September 12, 1948 in Herrin at Trinity Lutheran Church. . He died January 21, 2003.
She worked for F. W. Woolworth in Herrin for 13 years and she worked 8 years in the office of Dr. E. L. Hennig. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Herrin .where she taught Sunday School for 30 years. She was active in the Lutheran Women's Group at L. W. M. L. before her illness.
After her retirement she and her husband Jack spent many hours at Crab Orchard and Devil's Kitchen Lakes fishing, observing wildlife and searching the shores of Crab Orchard Lake for Indian arrowheads. Their dog was a constant companion on these outings.

Brother and sister in law - Orville and Alene Kuehner - Herrin
Sister - Naomi Banker - Portland, Oregon
Sister and brother in law - Natalie and Arnold Walta - Auburn, WA
Cousin - Charles "Chuck" Parola - Energy, who was a loyal and devoted helper and companion to Mrs. Henderson and to her late husband, Jack.
Several nieces and nephews
Her parents, her stepmother, Martha Kuehner and her husband preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2003 at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Michael Henson from Trinity Lutheran Church in Herrin will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Energy.
