BILL HILL JR. Marion Bill Hill Jr., 71, died Monday, October 6, 2003 at 9:35 P.M. at his residence. Bill was born September 1, 1932 in Pope County to Bill and Myrtle E. Bryant Hill. He married Shirley Stucker on April 4, 1958 and she survives of Marion. Bill was a retired construction worker and was in the service in the Korean War era. Survivors include: 2 Sons John and wife Louann Hill of Marion Ronald Hill of Marion 1 Daughter Kathy and husband Charles Edgar of Makanda 4 Grandchildren Travis Scott Hill Cortney Hanks Jamie Albright Nicholas Edgar 1 Brother Freeman Hill of Bellflower, CA Preceded by: Parents, 2 Brothers Funeral services will be Thursday, October 09, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Russ Finley officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Delwood with graveside military rites by V.F.W. Post #1301 of Marion. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
