Marion-Bill L. Sellars, 73, Went to be with his Lord at 6:36 P.M., on Monday, February 4, 2002 at the Marion Memorial Hospital.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February 7, 2002 at the Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Ford officiating. Burial will follow at the East Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Memorial envelopes are available at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
Mr. Sellars was born October 18, 1928 in Williamson County to James Coy and Eva Mae (Bloodworth) Sellars.
He married Geneva Angel on September 20, 1951 in Marion. She survives.
He was a retired Plumber. He was member of Pipefitters local #160 of Murphysboro. His trade was shared with the community through ownership of Sellars Plumbing and Heating & managing the Bargain Junction. For the later portion of his career he worked at SIU-C.
He was a member of Davis Prarie Crab Orchard Baptist Church of rural Marion for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and restoring old cars.
