Marion Billy Ray Hilliard, 66, of Marion died at 10:28 A.M , Friday, July 25, 2003 at Fountain Nursing Home in Marion Billy was born on October 12, 1936 in Marion to Willis & Anna (Wachter) Hilliard. He worked in the coal mines until his retirement. Mr. Hilliard was a member of the United Mine Workers of America and the Marion Masonic Lodge #89 AF&AM. SURVIVORS: Brother & sis in law- Donnie & Marilyn Hilliard- Monroe, MI Brother & sis in law- Everett & Gini Hilliard- Marion Sister- Alma Cloud- Urbana, IL Sister & bro in law- Maudene & Charles Norman- Marion He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Betty Edwards & Loudene Kelly, and three brothers; Jim, Willis & Bobby Hilliard. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 28, 2003 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home. Gordon Lambert will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant (Shed) Cemetery.
