Bobby Dean Black

Bobby Dean Black, 78, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 12:03 A.M. at Herrin Hospital. Bobby was born June 1, 1934 in Johnson County the son of Samuel and Lula (Davis) Black. He married Elsie Hanks on January 14, 1956 in Marion and they have just celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary. His working career was in road construction and he was a member of the MULE Association. He is survived by his; Wife Elsie Black of Marion Son Ronnie Black and wife Kim of Marion Daughter Marcella Havener and husband Gary of Crab Orchard Three Grandchildren; Brandon Black of Marion Heather Midgett and husband Robbie of Marion Joseph Havener and wife Jodi of Herculaneum, Missouri Nine Great Grandchildren; Zach, Shaylie, Dalton, Maddie, Kendal, Alex, Graycie, Gabriel, Elsie and one on the way Two Sisters; Orpha Lee Sullivan of Danville Alice Spencer of Danville Several nieces and nephews Preceded by his Parents, Three Brothers and Two Sisters. Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Shorty Alsip and Rev. Bobby Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Worley Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
