Johnston City- Brandon Scott King, 29, of Johnston City, passed away at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at his home.
Brandon was born on June 6, 1989 in Killen, TX to Tina King.
He worked locally for various restaurants, most recently Bob Evans in Marion. He was Baptist and a talented author and poet. He was on the 3rd chapter of his most recent book. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include-
Sister- Amanda Johnson of Herrin
Sister- Crystal King of Marion
Nieces and nephew- Kaylyn, Conner and Paisley
Aunt- Tara King of Zeigler
Aunt- Leslie King of Waco, TX
He was preceded in death by his mother.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Rev. Keith Rankin will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until time of service, Tuesday at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
