Brenda Lou Smith

Herrin- BRENDA LOU SMITH, age 65, of Herrin, passed away at her residence on Monday, August 13, 2007. Brenda was born in Colp, IL on October 16, 1941 the daughter of Louise Marie (Nova) and Woodrow Wilson Davie Sr. She married Douglas Smith on March 9, 1994 in Pittsburg, Il. He preceded her in death on August 11, 1998. Survivors include- 1 son- Todd and Dina Evans of Johnston City, IL 3 daughters- Deah Sanders of Herrin, IL Crystal and Don Johnson of Murphysboro, IL Toni and Jason Williams of Herrin, IL 10 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren 3 brothers- Charles and Susie Davie of Stiritz, IL Dennis and Joyce Davie of Herrin, IL Larry and Sharon Davie of Herrin, IL several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband- Douglas, and one brother- Woodrow Wilson Davie, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Pastor Frank Caruso officiating. Burial will follow at Blairsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9-11am on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home.
