Brenda Sue Boles

Brenda Sue Boles, 48, of Pittsburg, passed away at 1:40 AM, March 7, 2004 at her home. She was born on August 11, 1955 in Chicago to John & Marilyn Sue (Childers) Tippy. She married James Boles on June 11, 1980 in Marion. He survives of Pittsburg. She retired from Allen Industries and attended Hurricane Baptist Church. SURVIVORS- Husband- James Boles- Pittsburg Mother- Marilyn Lindsey- Marion Father- John Tippy- Marion Son- Brent Eric Boles- Pittsburg Step Sons: Chris, Michael & Brad Boles- Johnston City Grandchildren- Kylie & Kyia Boles Sister- Linda Phelps Sister- Glenda Hundley Many nieces & nephews Many aunts & uncles She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Roy & Bertha Tippy and Buck & Nellie Childers, brother in law; Jeff Boles,and mother in law; Eileen Bennett. Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home. Rev. Harl Ray Lewis officiated. Burial followed at Herrin City Cemetery. An hour of visitation was held prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Diabetes Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
