Calvin (Bud) Banjo Cline, age 76, of Marion, died Friday, August 10th, 2001 at 1:50 A.M. at Select Specialty & Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Mr. Cline was Retired as a Coal Miner and President of Local #9878. He was also a WW II Navy Veteran.
Visitation for Mr. Cline was from 5:00-9:00 P.M. Saturday, August 11th at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. The funeral service was on Sun day, August 12th at 1:30 P.M. with Rev. Shorty Alsip officiating. Burial followed in Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion.
He was born July 24, 1925, in Pittsburg, Illinois, to Raliegh and Charlotte (Tyler) Cline. They preceded him in death. He married Treveline Burns on March 15, 1953 in Pocahontas, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife, Treveline, of Marion; one sister, Louise Frey of Marion; and one nephew, Lynn (& Kathy) Frey of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by one brother.
