CALVIN LOUIS McMILLAN Herrin - Calvin Louis "Max" McMillan, 81, died at 2:21 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2003 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, IL. He was born September 20, 1921 in Franklin County, IL to Harry and Gladys (Oglivie) McMillan. He was a radio/tv repairman for Adams TV in Energy, IL. He was a Protestant. He worked in telecommunications with the U. S. Army where he was a World War II Veteran. Survivors: Brother and sister in law - Ralph & Williadean McMillan - Valpariso, IN Sister and brother in law - Mary and Jim O'Hara - Lake of Egypt, IL Sister - Beulah Derrington - Christopher, IL Several Nieces and Nephews Special Friend - Rebecca Ramsey - Marion, IL Many Close Friends His parents, one brother Claude McMillan, two infant brothers and one sister Reba Silkwood preceded him in death. Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 10, 2003 at Herrin City Cemetery. Rev. Paul Ramsey will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Burial will be at Herrin City Cemetery.
