Marion- Carlyne Mae Grisham, 71, of Marion, passed away at 11:25 a.m., Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, GA. Carlyne was born on June 21, 1938 in Marion to Charley & Edith (Moore) Crain. She married Don Grisham on June 5, 1956 in Hernando, MS. He survives of Marion. Carlyne was a retired school teacher having worked many years for the Marion Unit #2 School District. She was a member of the Marion Third Baptist Church. Survivors include- Husband- Don Grisham of Marion Daughter- Donna Parks & husband Jeff of Marion Son- Greg Grisham & wife Penny of Orland Park, IL Son- Randy Grisham & wife Lisa of Fairview, TN Grandchild- Jeremy Parks and Julie Pfeiffer of Marion Grandchild- Trevor Parks of Virginia Beach, VA Grandchild- Aimee Grisham of Orland Park, IL Grandchild- Blake Grisham of Fairview, TN Grandchild- Carly Grisham of Fairview, TN Step Grandchild Perrin Lance of Ringgold, GA Step Grandchild Garrett Lance of Fairview, TN Step Grandchild Thomas McCray of Fairview, TN Step Grandchild Molly McCray of Fairview, TN Great Grandchild- Cade Parks of Marion Sister in law - Helen Dunn of Marion She was preceded in death by her parents, sister- Barbara Sue Crain. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Rev. Ivan Ryan will officiate. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until time of service, Wednesday at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home/ 800 N. Market St/ Marion, IL 62959.
