Catherine Shkrlac DeGoricia, 84, of Marion passed at 11:55 A.M. on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Parkway Manor.
Catherine was born December 14, 1927 in Johnston City the daughter of Joseph and Rose (Pintar) Shkrlac. She married Ambrose DeGoricia on June 25, 1949 in Piggott, Arkansas and together they shared over 21 years of marriage until his death on June 8, 1971.
She was a member of St. Pauls Catholic Church in Johnston City. Catherine retired from Diagraph Bradley, where she was the housekeeping supervisor.

Son Daniel Joseph DeGoricia and wife Cindy of Dublin, Ohio
Daughter Angie Broeking and husband Darrell of Marion
Daughter Debra Kay DeGoricia of Marion
Two grandchildren;
Daniel Joseph DeGoricia, II and wife Amy of Dublin, Ohio
Lauren Michelle Yanovsky and husband Boris of Cincinnati, Ohio
Great Grandson Daniel DeGoricia III
Sister-in-law - Virginia Shkrlac of Locust Grove, Virginia
Several nieces and nephews
Preceded by her Parents, Husband Ambrose DeGoricia, Sister Matilda Shkrlac Vaughn, Brother Joseph Shkrlac, Half - Sisters Mary Zabrac Kresich, Ann Zabrac Panko, Louise Zabrac Bennett; Half-Brother Michael Anthony Zabrac.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 12 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Father Trevor Murry officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
