Marion – Charles Bradley McCoskey passed away in the loving arms of his wife, Lorin, February 25, 2013 at the Boca Raton Hospital in Boca Raton, Florida.
Brad, as he was known by his friends and family was born October 27, 1956 in Marion to Sue Carter McCoskey and the late Robert McCoskey.
He is survived by his wife Lorin Paley Bannett McCoskey whom he married in Houston, Texas December 16, 1994, his brother Jeff, cousins Joe Campbell, Cindy Hunt, Logan Hunt all of Marion, Campbell Hunt of Oxford, Mississippi, Dr. John Carter of Tucson, Arizona, his niece Cortney McCoskey and Mother Sue.
Brad attended Marion High School and Illinois State University where he set competitive swimming records both locally and conference. He was also the assistant swim coach at I.S.U.
Brad was a financial advisor and bond trader as his occupation. He was also owner of Bradley’s Men’s Wear.
He was an avid Bears fan and a dedicated follower of the Salukis. To those who knew him, he was a kind hearted true friend. He was a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church in Marion and a believer in John 3:16.
Memorial services were held in Boca Raton on March 4th. Local services will be held on Saturday, March 9th at 12 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff VanDyke officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
