Charles D. Ogden

Charles D. Ogden, 85, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 9:10 am.  Charles was born in Carterville, the son of Robert and Lucy (Starling) Ogden on September 16, 1935.

Charles is survived by his brothers, Ed of Mexico, Larry (Judy) of West Frankfort and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Don, Jack and Bill Ogden, sisters Dorothy Litton, Erna Lindsey, Erma and Emma Ogden.

Charles started his career working for Dr. Fine in Carterville then worked at Campbell Drug in Marion and Herrin Drug as a pharmacist assistant.

He will be missed by many family and friends, including Dr. Fine’s children, the McCamish family, David (Marie) Samuel and Bill Spiller.  Also, his best buddy, his dog PeeWee.

Private services will be held at a later date.  Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
