Charles Ray Morris

Charles Ray “Corkey” Morris, 67, of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 5:27 pm at Herrin Hospital. Mr. Morris was born September 11, 1950 in Simpson, Illinois the son of Gerald and Mary Elizabeth (Stucker) Morris. He married Amy Andal on February 18, 1978 in Rosiclare and together they have shared over 39 years of marriage. He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include his: Wife – Amy Morris of Marion Daughter – Trisha Morris of Johnston City Mother – Mary Elizabeth Morris of Rosiclare Funeral services will be Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 2 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Monsignor Thomas Flach officiating.  Visitation will follow the service until 4:30 pm at the funeral home.
