Charles Ruggeri

Herrin- CHARLES RUGGERI, age 91 of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Herrin, passed away at his residence in Las Vegas on Tuesday, August 29, 2006. Charles was born on November 7, 1914 in Turbigo, Italy, the son of Adolph and Annetta (Torno) Ruggeri. He married Margo Robichaud in Las Vegas on October 24, 1955. She preceded him in death on November 23, 1985. Mr. Ruggeri worked as Captain in the Congo Room at the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas for forty years. Survivors include: Two Sons- Charles Jerry Ruggeri- Las Vegas, NV Robert and Elaine Ruggeri- St. Eustache, Canada Two Granddaughters- Nancy Ruggeri- St. Sauveur, Canada Karine Ruggeri- St. Eustache, Canada Great Grandson- Sean Ruggeri- St. Sauveur, Canada Sister- Adolpha Calcaterra- Herrin, IL Three Nieces- Mona and Mike Goin- Carbondale, IL Charlene and Robert Swope- Bellevue, Washington Karen and Randy Cain- Lake Winnebago, MO Grand Niece- Michelle Shannon Goin- Carbondale, IL Grand Nephew- Alex Cain- Lake Winnebago, MO Charles was preceded in death by his wife and parents. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at the Palms Funeral Home in Las Vegas, NV. Burial will follow in Palms Cemetery in Las Vegas. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at Palms Funeral Home in Las Vegas.
