Chester E. Wayman

Herrin- CHESTER E. WAYMAN, age 79, of Herrin, passed away at 3:40am on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at Herrin Hospital. Chester was born in Marion County, Indiana on December 18, 1927, the son of Harold and Clara Wayman. He married Erma Polk in Herrin on April 15, 1994. She survives in Herrin. Mr. Wayman was one of Jehovahs Witnesses. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. Chester is survived by his wife, Erma (Polk) Wayman of Herrin, IL, one son, two daughters, and four step-children. Private family services will be held at a later date in Indianapolis, Indiana. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
