Chloe Mildred Collie, 87, of OFallon, Missouri & a former resident of Marion died 10:11 P.M., Saturday, December 27, 2003 at Jonesburg Nursing Home in Jonesburg, Missouri. Chloe was born February 19, 1916 in Glendale, Illinois to Raymond & Annie (Evitts) Schumaker. She married Holland Carl Collie on May 26, 1934 in Pope County, Illinois. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1980. She was a retail clerk at Shermans Department Store on the square in Marion. She was also a homemaker. She was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Marion where she also taught Sunday School. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially pies. Survivors Include: Son & Daughter In Law: Edward Ray & Barbara Collie of OFallon, MO. Grandson & Granddaughter In Law: Timothy R. & Jennifer Collie of OFallon, MO. Three Great Grandchildren: Kelsey, Kristian & Kayla Collie of OFallon, MO. Three Sisters: Gladys Allen of North Vernon, IN. Violet Eckstrom of Ft. Myers, FL. Vivian Ruth Blades of Cape Coral, FL. Nieces & Nephews: Mike & Joyce Blades of Marion Alan & Donna Blades of Marion Jim Blades of Marion Susan & Al Cook of Cape Coral, FL Robert & Monica Allen of Indiana Shirley & Ron Johnston of Indiana Gary Eckstrom of California Several Great Nieces & Nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald G. Walls officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Energy. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to charity of the donors choice.
