Herrin - Cindy Lou Summey, 44, died at 1:l3 p.m. on Monday, August 27, 2001 at Herrin Hospital. Mrs. Summey was born July l4, l957 in San Bernadino, CA to Harold Otto and Ruth Irene McCormick Taylor. She married David Lee Summey February 10, l983 in Barstow, CA. He survives. She was a homemaker and of the Protestant Faith. Survivors include: Husband - David Summey - Herrin Son and dtr in law - Matthew Kyle and Shanna Wetzel - Carterville Dtr - Amy Elizabeth Ann Summey - Knoxville, TN Grandchildren - Kyle Wetzel - Carterville Christian James Wetzel - Carterville Sister - Ruth Ann Van Norman - Herrin Niece - Rebecca Vlasak - Herrin Great Niece - Rachael Vlasak - Herrin Nephew - Ronnie Pirtle - Herrin She was preceded by parents, grandsons Kody Matthew Wetzel and cousin Carole Barnes. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2001 at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Sister Dorothy Cook will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a. m. to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
