Clara P. Wheeler

Creal Springs- CLARA PAULINE WHEELER, age 67, of Creal Springs, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at her home in Creal Springs. Clara was born in Aurora, IL on January 20, 1944, the daughter of Emil and Mary (Popp) Pitz. She married Kenneth Wheeler in Aurora on December 31, 1960. He survives in Creal Springs. Mrs. Wheeler was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church in Marion. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband- Kenneth Wheeler of Creal Springs, IL; Son- Richard Wheeler of McMinnville, TN; Granddaughter- Tiffiny; Great Grandson- Anthony; two brothers- Frank Pitz and his wife Marilyn of Marion, IL, Matthew Pitz and his wife Georgia of Ohio; two sisters- Rosanne Torres and her husband Eddie of Montgomery, IL, Teresa Nanniga and her husband Denny of Montgomery, IL; brother-in-law- Tom Gribble of DeKalb, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister- Mary Ann Gribble, and her daughter-in-law- Kassie Wheeler. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, May 9, 2011 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Father Richard Mohr officiating. Visitation will be held from 10-11am at the funeral home on Monday. Private graveside services at Mountainview Cemetery in McMinnville, TN will take place at a later date.
