Clifton W. Jeralds

Herrin- Clifton Wayne Jeralds, 68, of Herrin, passed away at 9:10am on Thursday July 28, 2005 at Herrin Hospital. Clifton was born in Carterville, IL on November 12, 1936 to Burke and Daisy Mae (Campbell) Jeralds. He married Carol Mary Jeralds on December 31, 1973 in Chicago, IL. She preceded him in death on April 20, 1999. Mr. Jeralds was very proud to be a US Air Force Veteran. Survivors include- Special friend- Karen Spiller- Herrin, IL Step Son and daughter in law- Irvin and Bonnie Cossiboon- McHenry, IL Step Son- Alan Cossiboon- Fox Lake, IL Step Son- Clifford Cossiboon- Flagstaff, AZ Step Daughter and Son In Law- Diana and Allan Patrick- Bark River, MI 20 grandchildren 6 great grandchildren Brother- Clell Jeralds- Royalton, IL Brother- Rex Jeralds- Carterville, IL Sister- Gladys Leeper- Herrin, IL Preceded in death by- parents, wife, 2 brothers, and one stepson-Michael Cossiboon Funeral services will be held at 10am on Friday August 5, 2005 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Ralph Brandon & Dr. Jerry Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Hurricane Cemetery in Carterville with military rites performed at the gravesite by the Herrin VFW and American Legion Posts. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Thursday August 4, 2005 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Memorial donations may be given to the Herrin VFW and will be accepted at the funeral home.
