CLYDE WESLEY WINN Marion Clyde Wesley Winn, 80, formally of Elgin, IL, died Wednesday, September 24, 2003 at 7:00 A.M. in the V.A. Medical Center in Marion. Clyde was born September 16, 1923 to E.E. and Zona (Nicholson) Winn in Marion, Illinois. He married Elizabeth (Faulkner) Winn on December 15, 1945 in Piggott, Arkansas and she survives. Clyde was a retired over the road truck driver. He was a member of Warder Street Baptist Church, Army WWII Veteran, Lifetime member of V.F.W. Post #1301, American Legion and Eagles. Survivors include Daughter & Son-in-law Barbara & Gary Underwager of Atlanta, Georgia Four (4) Grandchildren Four (4) Step-Grandchildren Thirteen (13) Great-Grandchildren Special Great Nephew Scott Eckols of Elgin Special Great-Great Nephew Matthew Scott Eckols of Elgin Preceded by: Parents, Three (3) Sisters, Three (3) Brothers, One (1) Grandson Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday September 26, 2003 in Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. David Brinkman officiating. Military rites will be performed by V.F.W. Post #1301 of Marion. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
