Herrin - Connie Sue Ashoff, 53, died at 4;25 a.m. on Sunday, November 18, 2001 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born August l5, l948 in Herrin to Bob and Helen Sadler Ashoff. She attended the Nazarene Church in Herrin. Survivors include: Her mother - Helen Ashoff - Herrin Sister and bro in law - Karen and Bill Woodis - Herrin Nieces and nephews _ Bill D. and Angi Woodis Kelly And Bret Childers Derek Woodis Great Nieces and Nephews Lyndsey Woodis Brandon Childers Whitney woodis Gabrielle Woodis Alexis Childers To Be Molly Sue Childers who will be named after Connie Sue at her birth God Daughter - Stacy Hamby Special Uncle - Clifton Sadler Special Cousins - Bob and Bev Tackett and Butch Lee Several other cousins and aunts and uncles Special Friends Sherri Hamby, Linda Cox, Bonnie Shoemake, Karen Clark, Janice Davis and Lou-Dean Cox Her father Bob Ashoff and uncle Paul "Toby" Sadler preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2001 at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Paul Black will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Herrin City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Doris Day Animal League.
