Daisy Copeland

Marion Daisy B. Copeland, 90, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at 5:15 P.M. at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Daisy was born August 29, 1915 in Dongola to George and Nancy (Karraker) Hogue. She married Mervin Copeland on May 15, 1935 in Carbondale and he preceded her in death on April 1, 1988. Daisy worked for Four Seasons and Nancys in Herrin. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. Survivors include: Two sisters; Mary Gibson and husband Paul of Centralia Margaret Biggs of Des Plaines Several nieces and nephews Preceded by Parents, Husband - Mervin, Four Brothers Luther, Edward, Grover and George Hogue and Two Sisters Lova Barwick and Edith Henshaw Funeral services will be Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Bob Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
